Our wedding ceremony will take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, a place that holds a very special meaning for us. Our priest, Father Snipes, is a wonderful family friend and also an Aggie! Emily attended her very first Aggie Muster with Father Snipes and her grandfather when she was in high school — an experience that helped spark her dream of attending Texas A&M.

You may also spot a few friendly dogs wandering around the church grounds — don’t be alarmed, they’re part of the charm! We are so excited to begin our marriage in such a meaningful and welcoming place.

Our wedding reception will be held at the Mission Event Center, located just about 10 minutes from Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. This is where dinner, drinks, and dancing will take place following the ceremony. The venue offers plenty of space and parking for guests, making it an easy and convenient place to celebrate together.

McAllen International Airport is the closest and most convenient airport to Mission, with service from United and American Airlines. It’s just a short drive away, making it easy to reach your hotel or the venues by Uber. We highly recommend this option — especially since flights from Houston are quick and easy, at only about 45 minutes.

Harlingen International Airport is a great option for guests flying in, with service from both United and Southwest. It is located about 45 minutes from Mission and will likely require a rental car for getting to and from the wedding events.
